I met Rodney Blackwell at this year's Heroes Con. Rodney is an independant artist/writer working on his creator-owned "Fierce Creatures" comic.

Rodney has pages of art that looked like storyboards for some John Woo action-fest. I liked what he had going and asked him to contribute to the SZ Gallery. Rodney talked about doing a Cobra piece but when I returned he had worked up Jack Carter instead!
