Mike Zeck has been one of my favorite artists since I first discovered his work in RBCC back in the mid 70s [Thanks Big Beatty!]. I met Mike not too long after that and found him to be modest, knowledgeable, and kind [except the kindness fades when he is at the poker table!].

Mike is best known for his work on Master of Kung Fu, Captain America, The Punisher, and Damned. For the last few years the bulk of Mike's work has been covers and commissions. Although I miss seeing Mike on a regular series, it's cool to see his interpretations of fan requests regularly on his site. Mike knew I loved Sly's portrayal of Jack Carter, so when I received this in the mail [I had no idea it was coming!}, you can imagine how surprised and happy I was! Mike also sent his preliminary sketch, so I will be posting that up in the near future as well.
