Rivals is a script that was written specifically for Sly and Arnold. Although I haven't read it, I love the concept. The poster to the left is Ernest "Jazzman" Resendes' concept of what the teaser could look like.

Sly and Arnold would play to successful club owners [whose clubs are across the street from each other]. They have been rivals since high school, each blaming the other for a blown football play. They are constanting looking to outdo the other with pranks but suddenly find themselves working together when the mob moves in to take over their successful nightclubs.
