Sylvester Stallone made an early entrance to catch some of the undercard action. He was greeted with a standing chant of "Rocky, Rocky" when he entered the building, the place where the "Rocky" star shot many of his fight scenes. Stallone was willing to let Vargas stand in as his double on Saturday.

"He is a real inspiration, a real-life Rocky," said Stallone. "And he can only set a great, great example for people on how important it is to come back and continue to show that everyone has peaks and valleys, and when you are in a valley is when you really know who you are. I am sure he will come back stronger than when he went in."
