Stripper Sues STALLONE for Assault

SANTA MONICA, Calif. (AP) - An exotic dancer is suing SYLVESTER STALLONE, claiming the ``Rocky'' star sexually assaulted her at a gym last year.

STALLONE attorney MARTY SINGER said Wednesday that the Superior Court lawsuit filed Feb. 28 by Margie Carr ``is completely fictional.'' The civil lawsuit seeks unspecified damages for assault.

Carr claimed STALLONE attacked her Feb. 28, 2000, in an office at Santa Monica Bodybuilding Center, where they both work out. After ripping off her clothes, the suit said, ``STALLONE attempted to forcibly have sexual intercourse'' on a couch.

``My client completely denies the claim,'' SINGER said. ``It's unfortunate in America that anyone can make up claims and file a lawsuit.''

Carr told the Globe supermarket tabloid in a story published Jan. 2 that she had had a 10-year secret affair with the actor and that she loved STALLONE and wanted to marry him. She also detailed a romantic rough sex session at the gym.

``She sold a different story to the Globe a couple of months ago,'' SINGER said.

Carr attorney Christopher J. Morosoff did not return several telephone calls from The Associated Press placed Wednesday to his Los Angeles office.

As for STALLONE, who is married to JENNIFER FLAVIN, SINGER said: ``It's very upsetting to him.''
